Bamba Kofi Snackbar

BAMBA KOFI SNACKBAR is our very popular dining area found at the Clubhouse situated at the WATAMU SAILING CAMP side of our property at WATAMU BEACH COTTAGES. The outdoor, breezy space is cool and inviting with a large makuti roof, and showcases a unique and very eye catching mural painted by the talented artist – Jenny Mallon, who’s work is featured throughout our resort. This relaxed spot makes a great workspace during the day, for any digital nomads, and it is exclusively available to all guests. Make the time to experience the relaxed vibe and make a few new friends whilst sampling some of the delicious food on offer.

We provide a basic bar selection of drinks, and have a menu of tasty meals offering guests a small choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We do recommend checking availability for the day, and pre-ordering ahead of time if you can, as most of our food is freshly prepared and can sometimes take a little longer than usual. Our friendly cooks  are on hand to assist you with your meal orders and any preferences.

We highly recommend the breakfast pancakes served with Stanley’s Lime Marmelade. You can even take a jar home with you, and trust me, it’s that good you will want to!

Our lovely staff will always do their best to accommodate you, so please bear in mind we are not professing to be a restaurant, but rather a friendly & inviting snack bar for the convenience of our guests, when you really don’t feel like cooking. It guarantees a chilled time, where you can sip on a beer or a glass of wine and enjoy good company.

Breakfasts are a favourite to have here, and if you want to experience something special, why not arrange a fresh fish BBQ for the family and make an evening of it? We will do it all for you!

We ensure our guests quit around 10pm and we don’t encourage parties, unless it’s a special occasion or event, and then everyone is invited. So don’t stress about noise levels if you are staying nearby, you will still have a good night’s sleep, ready to get down to our beach straight after a satisfying breakfast.
